Vicki Greenslade coordinated the newly developed Nursing Research Office at the Centre for Nursing Studies. She currently teaches in the BN (Collaborative) Program; year 1 - N1003: Therapeutic Relationship; year 4 - N4110: Senior Seminar. Her research interests are focused on issues related to Breast Cancer, Wound Management, Interprofessional Collaboration, and promotion of evidenced-based practice.
Dr. Greenslade's research activities include:
- Women's Experiences with Lymphedema following Breast Cancer Treatment. Primary Investigator
- Part A (Avalon Peninsula sample) Completed August 2003.
- Part B (Remainder of NL and comparison to Part A) Start date: January 2004.
- Women's Experiences with having Breast Cancer Surgery on an Out-Patient basis. Primary Investigator.
- A feasibility study for the assessment of the impact of web-based continuing health education for nurses and physicians on care quality. Co-Principal Investigator. (Pending Approval).
