Melanie is currently working as a full-time employee at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta. The Foothills hospital is the major trauma centre for southern Alberta so it's quite the busy place! She is employed as a staff RN in the Intensive Care Unit, which is a 22 bed unit. In the future, she is interested in trying Coronary care as well as Community Health. In fact, Melanie is interested in a lot of areas of nursing, but in her own words: "I know I can't do it all!" Eventually, she hopes to complete the Nurse Practitioner Program.
