The purpose of this module is to provide LPNs with the necessary knowledge to safely prepare and administer medications via the intradermal route. This module offers additional theory regarding intradermal injections that was not included in the medication administration course you have successfully completed in the past. It will supplement previous learning regarding medication administration through self-directed learning methods. Following successful completion of a theory exam on this module, the LPN must also successfully complete a laboratory experience and a lab test. (This module is a prerequisite for the Immunization Module).
