UPDATE
ON BACHELOR OF NURSING (POST RN) NURSE PRACTITIONER
PRIMARY
HEALTH CARE OPTION
The Bachelor of Nursing (Post RN) NP Option
will be offered as a time limited transitional option with two intakes
planned. A full time and part time
offering will be available in September 2008 and a full time only option in
September 2009. Sixteen students per
intake will be accepted. The program
will be offered over 6 semesters full time or 11 semesters part time. Course work includes 3 non-nursing courses; 9
nursing courses and 8 nurse practitioner primary health care courses. This program is available primarily by
distance through the Internet with an on site requirement of approximately 10
weeks in

please refer to the MUN School of Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing (Post RN) Nurse Practitioner Primary Health Care website http://www.mun.ca/nursing/undergrad/post_rn/ . It is strongly recommended that applicants
to the BN (Post RN) Nurse Practitioner Primary Health Care Program complete the
English, Statistics and Philosophy requirements prior to enrollment in this
Program.
